ABOUT EXPIRATION DATES
The US Food and Drug Administration does not require expiration dates on products and we follow that policy. However, Amazon offers a good guidline in their policies and all of our products have the PAO symbol. 12 m means twelve months after opening, for example. Usually the PAO months are 12 for Melem sticks and 24 months for both sizes of tins.
Expiration-dated inventory requirements
All topical and consumable products (including nutritional supplements), whether for human or animal consumption, are considered by FBA to be subject to expiration, even if an expiration date is not indicated on the packaging. Inventory in the Health and Beauty category with a Period After Opening (PAO) symbol (example below) is marked to expire 900 days ( near 30 months) after the date that it is processed at the fulfillment center.

Amazon considers a best-by or sell-by date the equivalent of an expiration date.
