A true story: Melem USA is headquartered in Winter Park/Fraser, Colorado.The area north and west of us was hit in the fall of 2020 by the worst wildfires in Colorado's history, but due to the wind directions  Fraser/Winter Park was spared of the closest threat, the East Troublesome Fire.  Hundreds of federal  firefighters were housed not far from us at the YMCA of the Rockies Snow Mountain Ranch. Melem was on the shelves in their gift shop. The word spread that this stuff worked in the worst conditions imageable, fighting the fire, and we were sold out immediately.  MelemUSA also donated quantities of Melem to first responders, firefighters, and the food banks servicing those who were evacuated to Fraser.

Melem is sold at pharmacies in Grand Cayman in the Carribbean and it is offered to guests  in  the Beho Beho Safari Lodge in Tanzania (5 stars on 2017 Tripadvisor)  The owner writes in an email:  "I am just off to Africa. So very grateful that I still have Melem which completely takes away any itch that I might have after being bitten by mosquitos and Tetse Fly if applied immediatlely after feeling the bite. Dr Muftic, the pres. of Melem USA, is from Croatia originally, and thought it beats anything on the market in the US, so we have been importing it for about 11 years, mostly retailing it in ski areas and tropics, and recently have gone on line with Amazon.

What makes Melem unique is that it is a special method blend  in the manufacturing process and contains lanolin, as well as beeswax. It is not waxy or greasy. It absorbs quickly and lasts, as the reviewers note, much longer than other brands. Advise your customers to apply lightly if they use the container format.  It does not need to be gooped on. It absorbs quickly.  One large tin should last about 3 months, the minis about a month.

Melem is carried on Amazon. Currently the stick balm has the Amazon choice flag, though Amazon seems to rotate it to the other two formats, the mini tins and the larger tin from time to time. This is a wonderful, excellent product. Living in a dry country, mountains of Colorado, this is the answer for dry skin, or any issues with the skin due to dried out conditions. Protection while skiing, or just the daily use, this is the answer. Been using this product for couple of decades now, and it’s the only one that I come back to, due to the fact that it does work. It does come from the old country, where I was first introduced to it. I love this lip balm. Unlike most lip balms which soothe only temporarily and require constant reapplication, Melem Lip Balm actually heals your lips and protects against further damage.
